  • A very simple question

Okay my eyes are now getting bug-eyed looking for a simple answer that is prolly buried somewhere in here.

I am a 300 in 6 tradeskills and 282 in last one fletching. Concerning all these hundreds of books on tradeskills quests for all culturals.

What do I need as a MASTER ARTISAN to do combines for ANY person concerning these symbols/patterns/armors for DoN cultural armors?

Do I need just 1 certain book for each type class? Some one please explain this to me before I go banana's even more. Keep it simple please.

    Thanks,

Not sure I understand your question. Are you asking how to do all of the cultural armors?

If so, the answer is that you can't. A dwarf can do dwarf cultural. A wood elf can do wood elf cultural. But they can't ever do each other's. Your culture is individual to you, you don't get to share in other's cultures

The symbols (augments) are the same for any piece of armor, but as stated above, you will only be able to make them for your race. I believe you can make the augment for any religion your race can follow, including agnostic.

So you will need one book for each LEVEL (Journeyman, Expert, Master, Grandmaster) of augment you wish to create. Then you will need to make the correct 'water' for the religion you wish to use the augment. But you do not need a separate book for each class, as the augments are usable by all classes.

      Now for the armor…

Your book of Ancestral Armor is used to make both the patterns for tailoring and the molds for smihting. If you look up xxx(your race here) Ancestral Armor you will find the recipes for the armor molds and the patterns.

Once you have the appropriate molds or patterns, you can look up the specific piece you want to make.

For the armor, you only need the one book, from which you make the patterns and molds.

      Hope this helps.

well im a tribunal worshipping Barbarian warrior and I successfully made tunare diety master water, and then the leg symbol. which my high elf cleric girlfriend put into her master level armor.

so Symbols can be made by any smith for any diety.

but I can only make barbarian armor. I made plate and it was bar/War only

chain was barbarian / Zerk/Rog/Shaman only

so make symbols to yoru hearts content. the hard part is finding dust for sale under 40k now on stromm. and i cleared Geos in WL or 4 hours, then wyverns and othmirs in Cs for 3 hours then finally mobs in SG for an hour before i got one drop

Any combines that are NOT combined in Cultural forges or sewing kits can be made by anyone. It has allways been that way, shouldnt come as a suprise for anyone.

But the gist to answer the original.

Any class can use the symbols you make. The symbol books themselves my be race restricted, but the results are not. So if you can get the water for THEIR diety, and the components (depending on if you want to do it as smithing or as tailoring, recipies are up on the main site) you can make a symbol for them.

The armor itself, you can only make for your race.

The books you need are given via 5 quests given by a new NPC in your home town.

the first is for the armor and is a "simple" get 4 things and bring it back.

The other 4 quests are for the symbol books. These are tasks, and take a bunch of hunting in 2 steps. The symbols made from this book can be used by anyone who matches the GOD of the symbol you make.

The skills you will use are tailoring, smithing, and Jewelcraft.
