Mature Pandas

I have slaughtered every panda on the hill, have killed the tigers and gorillas and snakes even 2 titans and yet I am two Mature Panda kills from finishing the Expert Erudite Quest.

Does anyone know if pandas spawn pandas or should i just lay waste to everything that moves to force these guys to spawn.

When I was hunting there for padding (in the weeks leading up to the smithing trivial change making Fine Plate cloaks no longer triv at 242, so this is rather old info), I focused on two main areas. In the road leading up to the Kejekian village, it mostly seemed like pandas spawned pandas, cats spawned cats, etc. Variety and level could change (I could get a panda cub one time, and a mature the next), but they seemed to be species specific.

I later moved to a north-south valley & plateau that's along the west side of the zone. There it seemed like some, probably most, of the spawns were reliably the same species, but some seemed shared ... it can be hard to tell with things pathing over such huge routes, but periodically there'd be a mob walking over x_hill or next to y_tree and you could form an impression.

I'd suggest focusing on the pandas, but do slaughter everything if possible as it would probably help.
