I'm reading conflicting reports that they do, and don't drop in the grey, around the temple of SSRA. While I'm fixing to lay into farming the outside in hope they do, and I DO know they drop inside, can anyone confirm they do or don't drop outside for me please...

Answer my own question - No, they do NOT drop outside .. (further note: the pristine scales for woodelf cultural DO NOT drop inside)

--Also, the drop rate for the DoN cultural armor is worse then Velious skill up items.. =/
