Gauntlets of Dark Embers

Anyone else have these and the mod not giving you the full benefit? My smithing is at 236 and and it only shows my having 258 with mod. /bugged it in game just in case.

I'm a natural 230 and a modded 264 with my VT gloves so seems all good to me?

Also working fine here. I'm at 244 smithing, and it shows me as 280 modified.

are the gauntlets or hammer easier to get? i'm trying at the moment to form raids for the shears and smithing item. don't know of other 15% items i can get. thnx

the gloves drop in VT, shoot for the belt (1 groupable) or hammer (if you have several groups of friends who care about your level in smithing hehe)
