  • Basilisk Tooth?

Where do these drop? Ive spent the last couple of days killing all the basilisks I could get to. I couldnt find any teeth. I was wondering if anyone had any information.

    Basilisk Tooth?

I see Basilisk Tooth in the database both here and on Alla's, but no info on where it actually drops. Anyone have any ideas?

Popular rumour has it off crocs in PoN. Which would put it on par with Erudite masters cultural drops which are also in PoNightmare.

Might want to combine all the ' where do basalisk teeth drop' threads.

Rumour has them dropping off crocs in PoNightmare. Unconfirmed by me though but it puts it in the same place as otehr masters cultural drops so I would not be surprised.

No idea, but at 56 they will eat ya alive most likely.

                      Tooth?

Well I just killed 25 tar'dak hunters in PoN (the crocs). I got the necklace, scale, toe, and two enormous croc teeth. No basilisk teeth though. Take it for what it's worth.

Why the heck would a basalisk tooth be dropping from Crocs anyway? Try the Basalisks in DelveB, nice area to kite them in the back. Try the ones in Broodlands if you can find them. I think, at least on Nameless that the scorchclaws and basalisks are mostly under the world. Either that or they hide real good.

they only attack when you find their hiding spots underground??

Actually I found a spot between the magma Pillars and the Lavaspinner entrance where you can stand right at the edge of the lava and cast a low level aoe on yourself... great way to find stuff under the world by the way.

Once you have them out and keep them cleared they don't have a chance to path into the lava rifts and get stuck.

That said after spending 2 hours killing myself slowly and trying to find their path hangup I only had time for 15 or so... a few lower level gems topaz and the like (the fire opal off the smoke dervish was a bonus) I saw a couple of non-tradeskill meats and no teeth.... honestly these seemed a bit too easy to take down to be the equivalent of PoN drops for other races. As well it seems odd for them to mix and match expansions for equal level drops.

                              Temple of Veeshan.. or worse?

If you look at the items either side of this in Lucy, they include the following:

                              Basilisk Skin
                              Racnar Hide/Guts
                              Wyvern Jaw/Eye
                              Inscribable Words/Silverwing's Lexicon
                              Box of Phara Dar
                              etc.

So...sadly...I suggest checking out Temple of Veeshan

                              Update:
Basilisk Skin, which is the adjacent item in the database, drops from Lava Basilisks in that well-known highly-trafficed exp-grinding zone called Veeshan's Peak. I guess the hope must be that they have also added this to the drop tables in the new DoN zones.
