Which is the right info?

First, Fantastic site and work by all! Can't tell you how many times I've been here to resolve an issue in game.

Unfortunately, I have an issue that many here have compounded.

I have a Half Elf Ranger of 64 seasons on Xegony server. I would like to do the new DoN armor quests. EQTraders Corner lists Half Elf home city as Freeport. Many people here have listed the tradeskill quest giver as being in Qeynos, yet I got mine from Nala Goldenthorn in Kelethin (which is the city my character started in) and I have completed the initial book and the Journeyman's book.

Am I doing the wrong quest?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From the post here, it seems like if you don't have the right person, you won't be given the quest. So, if you've got the quest, by default it must be the right person

Could be that there are multiple people giving out the quest in cases where you can have more than one starting city.

You are doing the correct one. There were 2 starting places for half-elves depending on where you were born. They have the same end result as well.

THere are 2 people that give the quests for humand and two for Half-Elves

So you should be fine with either.

They give the same quests as far as I know, and defenitely the same result

EDIT: looks like there is some unintentional difference between the quests, but the results of the quests are the same item.

I don't know whether or not there is a quest giver for Surefall Glade. However, there are FOUR starting spots for half elves, depending on class and diety : Kelethin, Freeport, Qeynos, and Surefall Glade. Qeynos, Kelethin, and Freeport all have different aug book quests (the 4 tasks that each has) - pick the one thats easiest for you I guess.

My human druid was born in Surefall Glade, and I had to get her tradeskill tasks from Qeynos. The two NPCs in West Freeport would not speak to her.
