  • Idea for 15 % Tradeskill Trophys

    In the previous expansions there were trophies that gave effects of 5 % mods just like geerloks did. It was a pretty good idea, but it is really outdated. There are items out there that have 15 % modded but are not readily avialble to most of the tradeskillers.

    In my opinion, there should be some sort of new trophy established that has a trivial of like 385 making it a little hard to make. I'm just throwing a number out there. It should have decent stats on there maybe with 150hp/mana or some sort with a couple aug slots. Other than pride and having fun tradeskilling, there was no other goal set. Back when I was skilling up Baking to 250 I really wanted a Grandmaster's Baking Spoon because it was so uber and before the tradeskill UI there weren't that many on my server.

    - Insert some sort of a 15 % trophy with some decent stats please!

    I like the idea, but think that 10% would be more in-line with the progression from expert to master. The really need to rename all the old trophies "Expert," and name the new ones "Master." If the trivial ever goes up again, they still have room for GM.

    I think it should be more around 300 trivial. =)

    I'm not sure if I can agree with a high 300's trivial item with a 15% mod, because people would just keep trying hit or miss until they landed a hit. It really wouldn't show skill unless they made a required level of 300 for the attempt.

      Be interesting to create a sort of general trophy, mabye made through use of all the tradeskills. It would trivial lower (330ish maybe?) and have some sort of nice stats, maybe a general 3% tradeskill bonus which applies to all skills. Then allow for the trophy to be augmented to one or a few specific tradeskills with a special augment for each skill. That augment would boost the skill mod to 15% for that skill and have a high trivial.

        How about a 5% to all skills with the ability to combine your trophy with it to create 10%. ie ends up being 10% to all skills. That or a quest to turn your trophy into an aug you can plug into a new trophy to upgrade it.....

          My vote is that we can take all 7 trophys, put them in a forge, hit combine and get a +10% to all tradeskills aug. I'd like it just to make some room in my bank. Space is becoming (haha, like it wasn't before) an issue with all of the tradeskill bags, tradeskill components and now all the cultural no-drop stuff.

            I saw a post somewhere from a tradeskill dev and it made a really vague reference to tradeskill trophies. Now do not quote me but I think it said something along the lines of 'nothing is planned yet but I may look into it sometime in the future'. If anyone can think where this thread is please post. I am gonna have a look around myself but I haven't a clue where I saw it.

              It was on the tradeskill Top Ten list. Nolrog chose to remove it from the list for the moment, though.
