  • Issues with Halfling Cultural

I've been working at the quests and recipes for Halfling Tailoring and have run across some issues, not sure if others are having the same.

The quest for the pattern book asks for 4 items; Cat Skull Cap, Fractured Femur, A Bunch of Optic Nerves and a Bead Necklace. Got all but the bead necklace right away. Got the bead necklace from Netherbian but that didn't work so I went back to Gorge and laid waste until one dropped. Still not working. I get a message that I need to turn in all quest items together (and I am putting all 4 into the same window, nothing stacked).

Either the recipes for the material for tailoring are incorrect or, as I suspect, they've put the wrong thread on the RV vendor. She has one thing of Mercuriam(sp?), then a small and large spool of Iron Thread. Following the pattern of other races the small spool of iron thread should be for the swatch, but it doesn't work. I made myself a Vale Needle (Vale Essence and Embroidery Needle) in the Vale Forge and tried to combine that with a MQ Wolf Skin and Small Spool of Iron Thread but get a cannot combine. I also tried replacing the wolf with a plain spider silk swatch. Neither worked.

    Anyone having the same issues?

I am having cultral issues as well

    Maddoc, something is borked..

the Vale tailoring kit does not have all my cultural recipes any more, it has the same recipes as my deluxe sewing kit, and I get a
"you cannot combine these items in this container type"
when attempting to relearn the recipe for the Patch of dire wolf fur.

embrodery needle, and 3 tufts of dire wolf fur unstacked..

I did bug, but not petition.

please look into and fix asap.

I havent found the Bead Necklace yet but one thing I noticed was that if I handed the items to the quest giver 1 at a time I received 2 different responses back from him.

When I gave him the Cat Skull Cap and the Bunch of Optic Nerves I received them back stating that I must turn in all 4 items at once.

When I gave him the Fractured Femur he returned it to me stating that he had no use for this item.

Since I never got the Bead Necklace I never tried with that.

I would recommend that you hand him the items one at a time and go thru all 4 items and I'm guessing that 1 of the 4 items is either marked one or he is giving us the wrong thread.

I just moved on for the time being and completed the the first task book and just began working on the second one in the Hole.

The fractured femur is the bugged item.

I got my bead necklace form the warrens, just slaughter the kobolds for 5-10 minutes and youll get it. It works too, its just the femur that doesnt.

The Minotaur Axe/Evil Eye quest is so ridiculously time consuming. Would be nice if the Lord xxxxx eyes counted for the quest since they spawn 2/3 of the time, but nope...

I agree it would be nice if the Lord's counted, but my issue wasn't the 10 EE's I had to kill, it was the 50 more spawns to get the Polished Bone Bracelet....you can also get EE's to spawn in the other areas of the Gorge.

If you're can AoE (Earthquake line) then you can play a game while trying to get the EE's. See if you can kill the two EE's in the ruins and then gather up all of the mobs (minus quest NPCs) in the gorge and AoE them to death before the two EE's respawn. I was able to get the number of mobs in the Gorge down to about 7, some of which I tracked outside of the world.

The first time I did the quest it took me over 75 kills to get the 4 mino axes. The second time (don't ask ) I got the 4th axe on the 16th kill. I guess my luck was just incredibly bad the first time.

Just in case you missed the posts in the other forums, you need to remake a new Vale kit. The new kit will work fine

Anyone hate the Minotaur Axe's...stupid respawn rate going on about 100 kills and only have 3 so far...sigh.
