  • AA point refund?

I was confused, can anyone now get to 300 in all the skills?
If so will we see a refund for those who spent aa to take more skills up?

Anyone can raise their skill to 300. However, you are still subject to the same rules as before. Only one skill above 200, unless you spend the 3 AAs.

      My understanding is this.

You can with no AA get 1 skill to 300, rest to 200. You must still spend the AA to get more tradeskills to the higher levels. The only exception to this would be the restricted skills, I.E. Research, Alchemy.

The only one I am very unsure of is Fishing and how this works into the play of things.

I guess I will findout for sure since I have spent NO AA's to get more than 1 Tradeskill. I will post once I know, if someone else has not all ready.

*** EDIT after Nolrog posted ~ Guess you can prolly answer my questions I posed in reguards to the restricted Tradeskills and how Fishing plays into the part now.

You can take fishing up to it's max at any time, along with one general trade (smithing, tailoring, pottery, fletching, baking, brewing and jewelcrafting) without spending AAs.

I'm not sure if the fishing cap was raised to 300 as well though. Can anyone answer that?

I am pretty sure that Fishing is (was?) level restricted at (5 x level) + 5, just as swimming is and sense heading used to be. Can anyone confirm that they were able to skill up fishing to 200 on a low-level toon?

Level caps for tradeskills were removed in the DoN patch (not part of the expansion, just in the same patch.) So you can skill up alchemy to 300, if you had the time and money once you are able to learn the skill (level 16 is it?)

I can confirm (at least for alchemy), that with one tradeskill (smithing) already over 200, you can raise alchemy above 200 without spending aa.

I think fishing still maxes at 200. I've fished about 15 buckets since the patch and have had no skill-up increase. I believe it is level restricted.
