Made the new Fier'Dal Fletching kit, and of course it didnt work. Hopefully it will get fixed sometime this century. Surest way to break something, is to, of course mess with something that wasnt broken to bring with.

Are other cultural forges than the WoodElf one MIA? I read all through the post by Absor (thank you for fessing up) but it says nothing about the forges. Just mentions the sewing and fletching kits (which cannot be replaced for WEs without the correct forge). Is there and *emergency* patch coming soon to address this? or are we needing to wait on the *normal* monthly patch?

edit to add this link detailing my info on the 3 forges currently found in Kelethin.

I actually posted this a couple of days ago on another thread...didn't see this sticky until now.
I too am unable to do any WE culteral fletching. I actually made another WE Fletching kit in the culteral forge this weekend, and no dice. No favorites show up, and a simple combine I've done a million times before doesn't work. I tried that because a guildy had creating a new sewing kit for his halfling and that worked for him (which is apparently the intended fix per the initial post). I didn't actually destroy my old kit, I just created a second one if that makes any difference (not that that should matter).
Combines don't work in either my original or my new kit, so the WE culteral fletching is currently broke.

Vale sewing kits
Wanted to confirm.
remade my Vale sewing kit in Rivervale today. Destroyed the old one first.
The Vale forge no longer says "Vale Forge" when you open it, only says forge, but it is still the only one you can use.
I made the kit the exact same way I made it in the first place.
HQ metal bits, thimble mold, needle mold and water.
It now works again and recipes were back.
Hope this helps.Last edited by Shazrozie; 02-21-2005, 05:00 PM.

If we wait for the patch, will it fix our old kits that we made? Or am I going to have to make a new kit no matter what?
I am currently trying to max my Chaotic Potential before I start working on getting my trade skills to 300. I want my WIS to be max, currently at 390, 3 more levels of CP to go and then it should be 405, I think, may be off on the numbers. Then I will work on tailoring and smithing since I already have Mastery 3 in both of those. Not sure which one I will do next, maybe fletching since I am a woodelf, but I will probably get fletching mastery 3 before I start that as well.

AbsorEQ ... you made a post here re new containers. Can you not take a minute to post re the obvious problems.

Um.
This is not a Sony Board.
They have no comitment to posting here, and really no obligation to post here. They post here on their OWN time out of the goodness of their hearts.
They DO have an obligation to post on the SOE owned boards, so demanding customer service is more proper over there. Over here... please leave it as a request and not a demand.Ngreth Thergn

PS. Molto Has retired. EQ2 has lured core group away.
I quit the game I loved because it wasn't anymore. Guilds allowing farmers in because they could do a lot of damage in raids.
SoE not really doing anything about farmers, macroquesters ect.
Still Some of my favorite times spent online happened in Norath. The friends and mobs I remember fondly.

Tokens & cultural kits
One item of curiosity: Surefall Fletching kits can be turned in for tokens. If one were to take an old "bad" kit, turn it in for a token, then redeem the token, would it provide a new kit (that would theoretically work), or an old kit?Chase

Wonder if next we find the cultural arrow trivial is lowered to 252. That may make Grampa real cranky.
All I can say is I truely hope that the SFG kit is Karana (ranger and druid) as before, and the triv is still >300.
