    1 Mithril Bit
    1 Needle Mold
    1 Thimble molde
    1 Water Flask

    SUCCESS!

I opened my *NEW* Feir'Dal Sewing Kit and sure enough my cultural recipes were present. I went on to get 11 up ticks in Tailoring, woot!!. Up to 226 now =).

Not sure why my old Feir'Dal Sewing Kit did not work and now this *NEW* kit works (exact same recipes).

So those were OLD cultural recipes right Lokase, not the new ones?

Has anyone been able to make a Wood Elf sewing combine with a NEW (post-patch) Fier'dal Sewing Kit and the DoN recipes? I've tried everything but the kitchen sink and still no luck...

      Yes Brickhaus,

I was doing Luclin Tailoring combines after I made the *NEW* Fier'dal Sewing Kit. I have not tried any of the DoN recipes yet.

      Cheers,

OK, I've found the forge without much trouble. It was the one in Kelethin that wasn't there before. Has anyone seen where the Half-Elves have hidden their smithy hammers?

Where is the new cultural forge?

So I tried the location where the old forge was and also tried the one outside the bards guild. Nada. Also neither says "fier'dal forge" like the old cultural forge used to say.

Where is the cultural forge now?

Better than tokens would be making all the cultural containers 10-slot. That removes most of the penalty for owning one.

So, I need to make a new Vale kit in my Vale forge? The one in Rivervale I assume. Have we confirmed the recipes use bits rather than small bricks?

Yes our Vale Sewing Kit still uses the old-school recipe listed on this site, namely using the HQ Metal Bit. I made two the other day.

I have tried every single possible combination there could be with the MQ cat pelt, the needle and the small spool of mithril thread, even trying just the needle and thread to see if they wanted us to thread it first LOL... not a single one of them worked.

I thought the instructions in the book were pretty clear, combine the small spool of thread and MQ pelt to make starter material.... is the sewing kit broken then?

Has the kits been fixed or no? I made a new Surefall fletching kit, and am unable to combine anything in it. I am a karana druid that had no problem using this type of kit before.

Or, was the kit changed to ranger only?

                          ~Level 70...

Posting here because I think youll be reading this, can you please remove the level 70 requirement on final culture book, its rediculous that its there, if you want any kind of check, make it a skill check of 300 smithing, which actually makes sense... Since when does smithing have anything to do with your level? It shouldnt...

Wisty / Aina~> I know this is off topic, but where else will anyone read anything who can make a difference..

I am a woodelf ranger and I can NOT get the new fletching kit to make Mithril Fletchings (1 small brick mithril & mithril working knife) when will this be fixed? Why did sony feel the need to break what was not broken in the first place?

Correct me if i'm wrong here but i know at least for trolls ( I think most if not all require the same) Require a DoN Instance to get the drops for the final book quest and if your group's average level isnt high enough you wont get the adventure. 70 war + 65 shaman couldnt get the adventer (I got the your groups average level is too low) But a 70 war 70 Sk and 65 shaman was able to. So 67.5 average wasnt able to but 68.3 average level was so probably requires the Average level of 68 to get the instance which if you are lvl 68 you are surely able to get 70 before you really gather many cultural combines unless you spend all your time in Bazaar which defeats the point of the game and I doubt that they would conform for that. This is probably why the Final Book quest requires that you are lvl 70. So its not really all that rediculous after all once knowing the facts.
They probably saw how many people made lvl 1 humans and got them to max smith skill to make mad plat off cultural and this is an effective way of avoiding the same issue. If you think about it, It is very silly for a level one player to be making armor that has a recomended level of 69 or 70. I agree almost 100% with the required level of 70 to make these items.

I couldn't disagree more. I put my time into tradeskills far more than levelling, and I have limited amounts of time to play. I've played this game since the summer of '99, and Bitt is level 60 and the highest level toon I've had. I don't want to have to level to 70 to do more useful tailoring; it would take me more years to get there.
