I just got a DNC on an Expert's Wrist Combine. I tried to combine:
1 Expert's Wrist Symbol Pattern + 1 Erud Needle + 1 Large Spool of Titanium Thread + 1 Expert's Moonsilver Swatch in the new 10 slot Erudite Sewing Kit.

Any suggestions?

I was using "Expert's Wrist Symbol Pattern". Where did you get / how did you make "Pattern for Erudian Wristguards"? I made the "Expert's Wrist Symbol Pattern" in the book binding.

Has anyone completed the "expert" portion of the mission since DoN went live? In the 2nd part it asks you to kill panda's. In the long text it asks you to kill elder and in the short text it tells you to kill mature. I killed elder and it didnt count them. I couldnt find any mature up and couldnt find any mature with my tracker druid in about 3 hours of killing.

Btw, this is nearlly impossible without a tracker (in my opinion) which is great because ther isnt any tracker erudite classes =P

Btw Calidorn, I got about 20 fragmented drake claws in an instanced mission of stillmoon temple I did on my DE cleric. I didnt know what they were for at the time and I wasnt hydraing my erudite ench at the time. The group was all 70's and a full group. I think it was an evil mission but I I dont really know as I was last to show up. It was the first mission I had tried so.. I dont remember the name either but the plot was to find animated golem/statue plans and then destroy the golem/statue. I hope thats enough to help.

Heretics use the same quest guy as the goodie Erudites?

Korzin Virimove gives the quest for Evil Erudites he is found in the open space in paineel just before the SK guild (Distancex on Morden Rasp found him for us) He also doesnt show up on the find list.

GM book requires killing 10 denizens of thundercrest and looting 1 Razor-Sharp Drake Claw. Return the claw for your book.

The correct version is kill 5 mature pandas, loot 1 panda pelt.

I have completed the mission for the patterns / molds book, the Journeyman's book, the Expert's book, and the Master's book on Xegony. I am presently 30/120 mobs killed and 12/80 claws looted on Grandmaster's book. At the start of this thread you can see exactly what I killed / looted to complete the quests.

completed expert on tunare server..had no issues finding mature pandas

I have all 5 books on Xegony server.

1. Pattern Book
2. Journeyman's Symbol Book
3. Expert's Symbol Book
4. Master's Symbol Book
5. Grandmaster's Symbol Book

Now, I just need to figure out where to find Purescale Ore and Coarse Silk.

I have heard that Purescale Ore can be found via Forage and Mob Drop in various zones, including Stillmoon Temple. I have a twink lvl 50 druid sitting in Stillmoon foraging every night while I play my main, and have yet to see a single Purescale Ore foraged, and did not see one drop in either of the two instanced Stillmoon missions I have completed.

The most information I have been able to find about Coarse Silk is that it comes from Spiders in an instanced zone in a mission which requires that you kill spiders. That information is pretty vague, so far I have not had any luck finding such a mission. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?
