I always stop my tradeskill skilling at 240, as the 5% geerlok kicks you to 252.
For as long as I could remember you could still skill up.. (241, 242 etc to 250) even with a 5% geerlok.
Previous to one of the last couple patches, if you went into inventory and looked as your skills it would show your raw skill, that is skills would not reflect your 5% geerlok. Of course if you went to a kiln, forge etc while your wearing your 5% geerlok it would show the appropriate 252 skill.
If you followed me this far, then here is my question. Since they changed your tradeskill skill to reflect your 5% geerlok in your skills window I have not received any skillups (244,245 etc).
Bottom line, those of you who are between 240 and 249 with a 5% geerlok have you seen skillups in the past 5 days?
Its probably in my head, but with DoN coming and skillups increasing I'm trying to get ready for it.
