  • "Finalized" DoN Cultural Info

    Greetings,

I found 5 books, called The Resurgence of History, on one of the Dwarf PoK smithing vendors, and it seems to tell all the information about cultural ingredients.

    - The ingredients for the cultural metal bars have changed based upon race
Formerly they were Warbone Chips, Fire Opal, Shissar Scales, and Metallic Dragon Scales respectively for each tier.

*NOTE: Metallic Dragon Scales are still used for the top tier of armor.

    Now they are:

Humans: Tusk of a small mammoth, horn of a woolly rhino, pile of gravel, metallic dragon scales

Barbarians: Permafrost crystals, chunk of condensed ice, pile of gravel, metallic dragon scales

Wood Elves: Mistletoe powder, polished serpent scale, small brick of Yttrium ore, metallic dragon scales

High Elves: Mistletoe powder, fungus sap, small brick of Yttrium ore, metallic dragon scales

Dwarves: Warbone chips, lava rock, pile of gravel, metallic dragon scales

Dark Elves: Russet oxide, small piece of Acrylia, midnight stone, metallic dragon scales

Half Elves: Permafrost crystals, fungus sap, basilisk tooth, metallic dragon scales

Ogres: Barbed bone chips, dark ore, pile of gravel, metallic dragon scales

Trolls: Barbed bone chips, globe of fear, basilisk tooth, metallic dragon scales

Halflings: Ivory, drop of mercury, small brick of Yttrium ore, metallic dragon scales

Gnomes: Warbone chips, chunk of condensed flame, small brick of Yttrium ore, metallic dragon scales

Erudites: Shark bones, drop of mercury, midnight stone, metallic dragon scales

Iksar: Loose scale, small piece of Velium, basilisk tooth, metallic dragon scales

Vah Shir: Porous mineral block, brick of black acrylia, small brick of Yttrium ore, metallic dragon scales

Frogloks: Barbed bone chips, gargoyle eye, basilisk tooth, metallic dragon scales

Also, in each temper, one must use a certain gem along with the original blessed water in order to make the <rank> Water of <deity>

    For each rank, they are:

    Journeyman: Jade Shard
    Expert: Lambent Stone
    Master: Crushed Diamond Dust
    Grandmaster: Purescale Ore

EDIT: Whoops, I guess I should read more carefully. The Symbol Patterns still use warbone chips, fire opals, shissar scales, and metallic dragon scales.

Thanks for the info =) I think metallic dragon scales were changed to metallic drake scales, at least those are what are sold on vendors currently.

            Oh, yay.
Good thing those scales werent used in poison or something else.
Cause I would have turned them into something 'useful' this morning if i could've.

            Horrah Xulan!

*takes scales away from destroy button*

Presuming the scales won't be sold on vendors when DoN goes live, just how rare of a drop were they for those who killed mobs in the new zones? I am guessing they are going to turn out Putrescent Blood or Essence of Discord rare.

I want to say I've gotten piles of gravel off of Stoneworker model mobs in RCoD or Tipt. Possibly both.

                        pile of gravel

I camped the RCoD zone line for a few hours killing the malfunctioning stoneworkers, killed atleast 4/5 of them per 20 min. Didn't see any Piles of Gravel drop, will move in further next time and see if the stone dudes further in do better.
