a touch backwards. you can equip a geerlock at 210 to get a modded skill of 220, which allowes you to make the 212 triv items and get those two skillups.

Also, once you can get the Aid Grimel quest text, you can skill up from 220 to 227 by cleaning the breastplates. But not from 210 to 220. Need 220 for the little squirt to acknowledge you.
