Ok, how does everyone feel about craftsmen?

I'm just looking for some input. My crafting is almost to level 10 and I'm not sure what subclass I'd like to go into yet. I would like to be a craftsman, but I'm not sure if others view this class as "useful".

What are your thoughts?
