  • Race/Class Question For Blacksmithing

    I have a DE necro level 59

    do i need to make a strength char to perform well at smithing or no here is my magelo...

    will this make a fine smith or do i neeed to make another char to do combines ?

    I believe str is just one of your options for a primary stat and since your int is so much higher, it will just do a skill check off your intelligence.

      Strength has a small modifier on how much you suceed in creating an item, not enough to warrant making a new character I'd suggest.
      Stick with your Necro for the high Int - greater chance of skill up.

        How often you skill up in smithing is based on the highest of your INT, WIS or STR. Thats it. No small modifiers anything.

        From your magelo, your highest of those stats is 244, which is pretty good for a mostly bazaar-geared necro.

        Youll do fine.

          No, it doesn't. As stated countless times by EQ Devs, even... the only thing that affects your success is your (modified) skill level.

          It's hard to believe these rumors still circulate.

            OKAY so my intel is actually 255 with other gear on so it doesnt matter then that char is gonna be good tradeskiller ?

            weee i see cubwyn is still his rude explicative self ive only seen 2 of his posts in my 2 days on EQT is he always this nasty or jsut having a bad hairday
