Tribute values

Meh.

I just donated items I made while doing trade skills, and I racked up 100k guild tribute, and 50k personal tribute.

Tailoring LoY robes and LDoN smithing armor mostly.

Donating high-end tradeskill items is great if you're able, but the fly method is something that's far more practical for someone relatively new to tradeskilling as I am. The drops are a lot cheaper to buy, and far easier to farm then anything I know of that I could create for the purpose of donating.

Put some no min level HP gear in the shared bank, (enough for like 100hp or so) Make a lvl 1 iksar monk, get the gear and find the place where you fall into a pit where lvl 1 scorpions, skelles and mosquitos are on a 20 second spawn timer. Thats all the wings youll need.

Spiderlings, well.. if you cant find spiderlings, what are you doin here? =)

Get 50ish fishing and youre set.

The last alt i played on povar had um... like 80k tribute before i quit.

I tried the dry flys. Spiderling silk is still a lot of trouble.

Inside of Cabilis is a pit - I think I recall it being under the shaman guild? - where there's 20 second respawn time mosquito spawns. Camp those for all the wings you'd ever need.

The new DoN cultural armor has no tribute value....at least not Tier 1-3...haven't made Tier 4 to check. Really should be worth something for returns IMO.

At least the new gnomish cultural have no tribute value as someone mentioned, nor do the vendors want to buy it at all

Ditto the new High Elf cultural, not worth a copper to the vendors, no tribute value for armor or symbols.

For the flys, just head through the Gukta (Grobb) book and head towards Gukta. Innothule Swamp is crawling with spiderlings and mosquitos.

Gukta itself also seems to have infinite supplies of them, but they drop silk/wings far less frequently.

As of todays patch the flys listed above are no longer good tribute. Now you only get 35 tribute for each fly. Oh well it was good while it lasted.

The issue is, if we put a list down of the top items to make for tribute many of us would suspect that list would come under scrutiny and some of the items would have their tribute values nerfed

I remember when Splunge posted on several combines and made a list about 18 months back. Of that list every single one of them was nerfed and nerfed hard.

If you make a list here, you just invite a nerf. Granted an item that costs 25pp to make and gives 1500 tribute should be nerfed if its all vendor made.

But if they nerf say the Tae Ew Chain legs from 4400 to 440, I am going ot be a bit upset. Since it takes alot of time to get Blood, and the skill to make that combine. and the legs themselves dont really sell for much to the general public anymore.

Just say no to lists !!
