Useful OoW tradeskill/quest drops...compiling a list.

Seems like every time I'm in a pick-up EXP group, something very useful drops off a common trash mob that somebody loots and nobody says anything about because they don't know what it's for. Come to find out later, it's a rare drop for a high end tradeskill item that's worth 10k-100k+.

What I'd like to do is compile a list of drops we should be looking out for in groups that may seem like vendor fodder to the uneducated, but priceless to an avid tradeskiller, or even for quests. My guild if chock full of tradeskillers and it would be a shame to see rare needed drops go to waste. I'm not looking for any common drop that's used in a tradeskill recipe, but want to weed out those rare components that shouldn't be wasted on a vendor.

Post the item, what it's used for, where it drops and who drops it if you know. Links to the recipies would be a nice bonus. I'll start out with the rare drops needed for the latest craze...Augments!!!

Trean Flies - Used to make Treanic Acid
- Needed for adding "minor" effects to effect & hp/mana Augments (the augs with 1-word names)
- Reported to drop off various mobs in Noble's Causeway, Dranik's Hallows, and Dranik Catacombs

Slugworms - Used to make Slugworm Acid
- Needed for adding "minor" effects to stat Augments (the augs with "XXX Stone" names)
- Reported to drop off various mobs in most lower to mid level OoW zones.

Dust of Discord - Used to make White Gold Inlay
- Needed to add Mid-level effects to Augments.
- Reported to drop off various mobs in Noble's Causeway, Dranik's Hallows, and Sewers of Dranik

Discordant Scoriae - Used to make Black Gold Inlay
- Needed to add "Pure" effects to Augments.
- Reported to drop off various mobs in Mid to higher level OoW zones.

I'll add more later if not posted, time run out ATM. Please add your tips on not letting rare components go that guildies could use, or you could sell for nice cash.

Lightning Core: Dropped by lightning warriors in MPG, used in pottery and smithing
pyrilen flame: Dropped by pyrilens in Riftseekers Sactum, used in smithing
gelidran ice: Dropped by gelidrans in Riftseekers Sactum, used in tailoring
Bazu blood: Dropped by Bazus - used in pottery and smithing
Bazu heart: Dropped by Bazus - used in pottery

Items need for the new tradeskilled augments and other things in OoW, such as lightning cores, are just too rare imo. I've never seen any of the augment components drop, ever, except for the Trean Flies. I spend significant time farming tradeskill components like this, and in 50 hours in MPG farming the lightning guys have seen just two lightning cores drop. Each of the augment drops and the lightning cores sell on my server for 50kpp and up (per item!). In my opinion, this is insane, and the drop rate should be increased to allow people a chance to even make these items. I know where they are supposed to drop and I spend 4 to 6 hours each day hunting for them, but they just aren't dropping.

Please increase the drop rate.

I've seen a total of two dust of discord drop, one of them from random green trash in Dranik. None of the other augment components have dropped in my presence.

NM I'm dumb
