Hello, new to the boards. I'm currently trying to raise some plat and I was wondering what would be good to make/sell and how much I should charge. I'm lv61 Necromancer on the Stormhammer server, skill of 212 in smithing and 200 in all other skills. Please re-direct me to a thread that has had this discussion before if there is. Thanks.

The best way to make a small fortune via tradeskills is to start with a large fortune.
Because of market flow and flavor-of-the-month disease, the only way to make a lot of quick plat is to be in front of the curve, identify an emerging market, and jump on it before it's flooded with suppliers. Due to consumption, you might be able to make steady, but not overwhelming profit from some food and drink items, but at 61 you can probably farm for tradeskill drops to sell to other tradeskillers much easier than you can make tradeskill profits with 212 smithing and 200 in other skills.

Read the boards.. this question is asked and answered weekly. basically, if you want fast PP, go farm. if you're in it for the long haul and have time and some PP to spend to make pp, then tradeskill. You'll spend more than you make at first, but in the long run.. you'll make PP.
