that may be very true, but there has to be something said for time taken. Last night i spent about 3 hours farming pelts to make poisopn vial, then getting the gems put in them (to make viscious mana) just so i could work on Wu's armor, i spent about 4 hours gathering and making stuff for sub-combines, and paid a decent amount for the stuff.

    small block .016
    vial sketch .315
    HQ firing sheet .042
    pearl 4.725
    enchanting 1.785 had 28 enchanted for 50p
    --------------------------------
    total 6.982

I could have bought them in the bazaar for 10p each and saved 4 hours of monnotony. in fact, for future endevors i am going to buy them when available.

other option, i could pl an enchanter and save hiring someone to enchant them. need to pl one to lvl 12, gee, that would take longer than 4 hours.

If you can forage, I'd think that mushrooms would sell quite well. Personally, I'm stuck at 191 baking because the fished crawdads don't come in enough of a quantity to be useful, and I can't forage.

Yah, but not 'much' longer than 4 hours if you do it right.

I didn't do it right, so don't ask me. I made a high elf enchanter, spent 300pp on chanter gear in bazaar, gave him a 10 slot bag full of tiny daggers and 70pp for spells, and he leveled very fast.

Actually I had a friend staying for a weekend, so I kinda pretended enchanters were a cool class, and let him start the character while I was at work .

In 4 hours, slightly more, he is level 10... don't plan on getting him past 12, so maybe another hour. Already bought spells to enchant silver and make the wu's mana stuff... but haven't found/looked for enchant clay.

So it may be nice to have him when I go into jewelcraft and pottery... the 2 skills I want that I haven't started.

If I was going to do it over again, instead of making a high elf, I would have made it a gnome, kill 2 birds with 1 stone as it were.

If you 2 box, which I don't, you could do it in 1 third the time with a shammy to buff.

actually, i have a lvl 4 gnome enchanter. i started him to cast thicken mana, to tinker bow cams and enchant metals (for when i start JC).

But i was impatient in PLing him, i thought i had to get him to lvl 8, then i discovered that he needed lvl 12, so i decided to start farming and making poison vials and getting ready with the pearls. But i ran into someone that was willing to do if for me for free (make viscious mana with my components) and i tipped him 50p for his time.

I think i spent maybe 100p on twink items for him. But just haven't really had the time to PL him properly.

i've had him killing Shadowed Assassins in misty thicket. Shammmy buffs help alot, still takes forever to kill one though, hit for 10-15 points then 10-15 misses in a row. but i get 1 and 1/3 blue bubble per kill. My defense is maxed (having 4 pound on me at a time). I only take noticable damage if i'm being pounded on by 3 or more. I need to run my main around abit and buy my little stumpjumper (that's the name of my gnome) his spells.
