Max Skill lvl still 252? / Hobgoblin Surprise

Hi everyone! My first post to EQTraders forums.

I was reading about the Beginner Magic Manual and Hobgoblin Surprise (Baking, 302 trivial). Does the max PC trade skill now go up beyond lvl 252? If not, why does the Hobgoblin Surprise list triv at 302? Also, why would there be such a huge difference between max skill lvl and trivial skill level of some higher lvl combines?

Sorry if this was discussed in previous threads... I couldn't find the information I was looking for.

Many valuable tradeskill-made items (especially those from PoP and later) have trivials above any skill level that can be reached. This results in high failure rates, which is presumably what the devs want, as a way of limiting the availability of those items on the market.

Fudapuda is correct.

It is just a way to make an item dificult to make. With the new Tradeskill AA's all of these items became easier to make.
