Tailoring bug or bugged Tailor?

I am currently trying to do a couple stacks of Cultural Erudite Masks.

According to the recipe located here

for Woven Platinum Veil

I need

1. Mask patter
1. Infused Terrantula Silk
1. Silver Thread
1. Enchanted Platinum Thread
1. Embroidering needle

Combined in an Erudite Sewing Kit

However, when I try this combine in the Erudite Sewing Kit, which I purchased from Galbasi Weaver in Erudin, I am getting this message: "This Tailoring kit did not accept these items, try another kit."
(not the "these items cannot be combined in this kit" message)

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong that I haven't counted on?

was just about to advise you to check your ingredients and make sure that you were using the right ones (ex: not using Terrorantula Silk Swatch instead of infused, using the correct needle, etc...)

For the record, the cultural kits give that different message all the time, even if what you are attempting to combine is not a valid recipe in any container. Presumably this is on the theory that people attempting invalid combines in a cultural container will usually have the wrong container.
