Newbie Question?

I have recently begun to take up the art of fletching. I have been progressing nicely until one day where my fletching kit has not been working. I use to beable to right click on the planar fletching kit and it would bring up a list of reciepes for me to make. Currently it just opens the box as a container. Is this normal for when I reach a certain skill or level? Or did I do something to the box where it no longer brings up recipes and now only a container?

You actually have the ability to click something cant remember to shut off the kit so it wont open in the big box anymore. I cant remember off the top of my head what it is, try rightclicking on it or something like that after you open it. Or see if there is a menu for it. I just cant remember right now but once I get home and log in I can figure it out.

Control Right Click. Once you have it opened, there is a button that you toggle on/off to be able to either open with a right click or have to use control. Bet you accidently hit it on your last fletching run, it happens to the best of us

I know this has nothing to do with this thread but I feel some might think this is a 'newbie' question also. Can you use OoW tradeskill items without having the expansion? I think you could use the tradeskill items from all previous expansions without owning them with the exception of GoD. That was the first time I got the message ' You are not skilled to use this material' or something like that. Although I only got that message with the nihilite in JC but am assuming it was with everything. After that I did the quests there to be able to use the tradeskill items without checking to see if I could before doing them (the quests).

I believe that you can do the trades even without the expansion, though I am not 100% sure on this.

The reason that you got the message with the GoD materials, is because you have to do the GOD tradeskill quests in the abysmal sea first, so that you can work with them. I never thought about it before hand, but perhaps they put that in, so you would have to buy the expansion in order to do the combines. I always thought of it as a free way to skill up to 54.
