Question about Trivial level

I have noticed that some items report that they become trivial at 335.

How was this determined since aren't we capped to only 255?

We are capped yes, the products are not. The >250 trivials are listed in the container combine interface, once you have sucsessfully combined them.All the trivial levels are shown , not just >250.

On the newer tradeskilling UI, learnable recipes show their true trivial level.
Hence, that is how it is discovered.
