OK I know this is an even goofier post than most of mine but I hope those are mispelled in your post and not in the game.

Kyanite is a nice aluminum silicate as far as I know there is no Kayanite
Celestite is strontium sulfate, Celestine is part of a book title by James Redfield
Apatite is a deep green calcium halophosphate, no idea what Aparlite would be
Tourmaline is an aluminium borosilicate with lots of substitutions - Tormaline is the Italian spelling as well as a material for wigs.

As a rockhound I think I have fussed enough in the past about how some of the minerals named from real ones don't have the right colors, so I am hoping these are just, um, transcription errors.

Thanks Solis for the preview and I am not picking on ya if they are mispelled. Just getting a bit anxious about the expansion

I was actually surprised I could decipher anything from my notes on the names, so I went back and double checked in beta....

I did a horrid translation of cat scratch for 3 of the gem names at least, however I am sad to say that at the moment you will need to be careful when cutting gems that you don't chop the cover off of a book by mistake.

      Radiant Celestine of Pure Extension.

Should I let slip that there is a book that describes the Cuts made to the gems to focus their power? or would that me another source of potential anxiety?

Giggle - naw that was good enough for me. I can wait for the rest, but I hope we can use more books as raw materials in tradeskills in the future. :lol

        Thanks Solis!!!

So, in one augment, you can have up to 3 Kayanite?

          In one suit of gear?

You can fit 3 Kayanite in one set of gear?

There some kind of point system? =)

Sundering (CLEAVE!!) DOES sound very fun.

Ah to have been born a gnome rogue instead of an ogre shadowknight *sigh*.
