  • AA into additional TS

Working on AAs atm, have 33 I think. I have GM in pottery, but want to do others. I know I get a new title at 42 aa, but not sure if I have to put them into a specific area to get the title. If I spend some down in the lower tier getting new TS caps, will I miss the new title?

    Thank you,

    Mojo

Affirmative. (I needed a ten letter word).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

      6 AA in General = Baron(ess)
12 more AA in Archetype = Next title (varies by class)
24 more AA in Class = Third title (varies by class)

To use myself as an example, even though I have over 100 AA's, I've only spent 14 in my Class AAs, so I only have the second title (Venerable for priests). Just because you have 42 AA points overall does not guarantee you the final title, they have to be spent in the specific amounts in the proper categories too.

        Myrron is correct.

For INT casters (and SKs don't count) the second title is Master.
The third is the -hated- Sage title.

Many, many.... quite a few... many, very many, most pure casters will jump thru flaming hoops to AVOID their "class" title. Because Master Itek sounds so much COOLER than Sage Itek. (And the female toons... it's MISTRESS, they don't give that up without a fight.) My current plan is to not break "Sage" untill 228 AA, and I currently only have 41.

Wisdom (priest) casters have it much better. Venerable is the second title while ELDER is the "class" title. Personally I'd rather be an Elder than called "Venerable" to my face.

Someone had a list of all the various title by rank but the link died years ago. If someone still has it I'd love to see it.

Plus they are planning on adding some titles to Omens. And there is the possibility that people will be given some CHOICE (not sure how it will be made, AA points, Quests, etc) of what title they have. (Possibly the one above their head, possibly the one in /who ... no one really knows.)

Personally I'm hopeful that the Level 70 Enchanter title will be Phantom Lord. And for an AA title I'd personally go after Seer.
In My (Not Always) Humble Opinion, except where I quote someone. If I don't know I say so.
I suck at this game, your mileage WILL vary. My path is probably NON-optimal.

Seems to be an accurate list, though I didn't check it thuroughly and it does not have Berzerkers. It is a bit misleading on the "Points spent" listing--Myrron said it here accurately.

Its on the EQLive boards, which can be a little sluggish and annoying, but its still something.

I think the same often goes for knights (pal/sk) - most hugely prefer Sir/Lady to Duke/Dutchess. I know my AA plan is based around "CANNOT get >=24 points of class AA".

Yep, the only reason I'm a baroness is because I got 2 levels of Tanaan.

I kinda liked it when my monk was 'Sister', personally... people suddenly realised I'm a girl! (Kinda hard to tell ikkie sexes apart...) Now she's just plain ole Sensei :/

Personally, I hate the Elder title. It's fine for casters, but just doesn't fit for my clawing, tanking, in-yer-face beastlord. Give us a separate title list! Other hybrids like rangers and the knights got their own titles, why shouldn't we?

If someone can confirm the Class AA Title for female berserkers, I'll fill it in.

                  Having read the list:

The opposite of "Sir" is "Dame", not "Lady". Lady is a female Lord. My guild uses titles to denote rank and we've got Sir and Lady on the same rank as well.. it's always gotten on my nerves.

Why is it that a necro medium title is the same as the wizard higher title? That blows.

                  Just annoying.

                    Adjustment to above:

I don't mean that Dru is wrong.. I didn't notice any discrepancies in his list against what's in the game.. I'm arguing with Sony If anyone took it as bashing Dru I apologize.

That's SOE for ya, most people don't know have a clue as to that even though you'd think they would what with actresses who have been knighted. I think that's why they didn't put it in as it would supposed to be. Silly, but understandable considering the average player.

Elder is a class title for Beastlords, Druids and shaman, but not for Clerics.

Clerics get Exarch < my personal favorite >
