  • How to get over 200

    Hello all

I have a 52nd Ranger and I have one skill (Fletching) over 200, but I want to get the other skills over 200 so I can start selling sone good combines on the bazaar.

I should have read the information here first so I did not get my Fletching over 200 first as it would have been better if it were Brewing or Tailoring.

What can I do now if I want more skills over 200, is it all AA's I need and if so at what level can I get them and how long will it take. Also is it worthwhile.

      Thank You

Thank you for that link, that sums it all up clearly.

I guess it will be a while before I can do anything about getting another skill over 200. I have been advised to concentrate on levelling before AA's as AA's will be easier to get the higher level I am. Do you agree with this?

      many thanks

The Rangers Glade is a good place to read up on all things rangerly, including many posts regarding leveling vs AAing.

        http://forums.interealms.com/ranger/

IT all depends on your playstyle. If you have serious intentions to progressing towards the higher end game, harder encounters, raiding, etc. then i suggest go 50/50 till you get 3 AA and buy Run speed 1,2,3 and then go 100% to 65.

There are also many rangers who arent interested in the committment that the high end takes and get to 62 and stop to work up to and buy Headshot, and go solo in Nurga (or is it droga?) where the gobbys are head-shotable and dark blue at 62.

As far as tradekills: Hate to burst your bubble, but everyone and their brother is a 250 Brewer, its just way too cheap and easy. Very very doubtful youll make any money in brewing.

And tailoring... heheh.. well.. do you like your hair on your head or torn out in little clumps? Carpal Tunnel sound like a load of laughs? Does the prospect of blithering incoherently and the nice men in the white suits putting you in a nice padded van just strike your fancy as a fun evening?
If so, then *ALL* this can be yours.. IF you decide to GM tailoring. =)

I love tradeskills. I really do. But, ranger to ranger, heres some facts...

        1. Grandmastering tradeskills is a great way to make a small fortune.. out of a large fortune.
        2. Youll make far more money selling farmed tradeskill components to those who want to do #1.
        3. People will make fun of you, just cause your a ranger. Ignore em. Cope. Be better then they are. They hate it. Living well is the best revenge.

          Thanks Splunge

That's a very informative and humorous reply and I will definately take heed. I don't suppose you want to give me some hints of the farmed tradeskill components to try.

I love being a Ranger too, it's funny but I started another toon recently and I instantly missed tracking, very quickly missed my trusty bow and arrows and after a while realised how disappointing it was not to have some foraged item pop up on my cursor every few seconds.
