High Mod Items?

Hiya, Just read in another forum about these Akhevan Shadow Shears. I was wondering are there other items with more then a simple 5% mod for the OTHER tradeskills? Specifically Smithing and Jewerlycraft

There are 15% smithing gloves from SSRA or VT (can't remember for sure) I am pretty sure there are others.....but i dont think there are any for Jewlcraft, and frankly it's so cheap and easy to skill up JC there probally isn't much use for a 15% JC mod item.

Just incase you didn't know once you hit 240 skill a 5% mod and 15% mod are basically the same unless/until they raise the skill cap.

The most easily accessible 5%+ mods for smithing are (assuming you are a large race) in Seru. This mod is +10%, but only for large race (which was a pity when I couldn't roll on it on my froglok.)

The easiest to obtain +15% mod comes from XTC (Xerzish (sp) the Creator) in Ssra. This is a raid encounter for sure, it will requires at least 3 very well equipped groups, involving a solid cheal rotation on the tank, and a steady line of Curse cures as well, as he has a debuff that he casts on the tanks rendering all heals on the tank 75% less efficient.

In my experience, the Hammer of the Ironfrost from this mob is fairly common, and I have twice seen two drop on one kill.
