Scenario Question ....Trivial / Gerlok / Skill-ups

I am working on Fletching. My un-Gerloked skill is 196, with Gerlok it is 205. The item I am fletching has a trivial of 202 - or less than my skill with the Gerlok.

Because I have a Gerlok enhanced skill greater than the trivial for the item, will I still receive skill - ups ?

(Did a search, this place has more info than Encarta)

In short, yes, you will still get skill ups. See the FAQ Forum, the specific post is Skill modifying items (Geerlok, etc.).

Man, that would make for interesting times if the raid mobs required intimate knowledge of TS.
