    **sigh**

You can evac across the zone. Should even. It's reasonably fast and safe. Sometimes it's less fast or less safe. Sometimes there's a train thru the PoN graveyard.

You -can- run across the zone. There are several walk-thru's of how to do this. If you can't succor (um, that'd be MOST people right?) you should probably learn how, because it's usually not convinent to drag a taxi along. Unless you have a taxi twink and a second box. (I do, I still plan on getting skilled at the run if I ever need it again.)

There is no "safe" (read: never get attacked) way thru SG. There isn't supposed to be. If you are going to WW, DN or ToV and the mobs in SG are a serious threat to your health... re-think your trip. (Read: the SG zoneline in WW is NOT, repeat NOT always safe.)
In My (Not Always) Humble Opinion, except where I quote someone. If I don't know I say so.
I suck at this game, your mileage WILL vary. My path is probably NON-optimal.

Consider binding right outside the ToV zone. (Once you make it there alive )As long as you're close enough to the end of the tunnel you shouldn't aggro the big ugly red dragon. Then I'd recommend zoning in to forage - it's a lot safer just inside the zone than it is in WW - but don't venture in any further if you have bad CoV faction!

Actually now I think about it you can't get past Sontalek if you have bad CoV faction. Just don't try.

But if you have good faction... it's a good idea, especially for a druid. Gate there any time, go in and forage, port elsewhere when required. Important: I don't think you can bind INSIDE ToV, so make sure you bind before you go in, otherwise you'll have to do the whole run again if you have bad faction. (It's not safe to run to the zone out if you are KoS to CoV.)

The only disadvantage with this plan that I can think of is that you don't get any tufts of dire wolf fur (to give to your cheeky local halfling) in ToV.

SG has changed not too long ago (aka in the last year lol). the sea horses while have always seen invis, never chased you over the water fall, once you got to the top was ok to re inivs for the jump down. alas no longer, they will chase you right over to the next pond. just hope there isnt an ulthork standing there when you jump out.

there may now be more than 1 aggro roamer at succor point, seems to me i saw a couple when i was doing the coh pulls the other day. (yaya run the very breakable mage across to coh the very unbreakable tanks and stuff /sigh).

          Sg

well if you are an enc/pal/cle you can pacify your way across
if you a dru/wiz you can succor your way across

If you aren't any of the above make sure you have a good swimming skill.
Swim out and to your left (into that little cave) go up up and then jump off the waterfall, jump out of the water in the little nook (ulthorks won't aggro there) invis yourself and run to zoneline...or just run to zoneline.

I do recommend swimming 170+ and runspeed 3 or sow

Or, just go to skyshrine and forage dragon eggs. Save yourself the hassle.

You can't forage dragon eggs in Skyshrine. The only eggs you can forage there are wurm eggs and drake eggs. So far as I am aware dragon eggs can only be foraged in Western Wastes and Temple of Veeshan. They also drop off some dragons, mind you, but it's easier to farage them than it is to kill dragons for them.

There is a safe spot on the spit of land to the left as you come down the waterfall. The seahorses/fish won't follow you onto land and it's back far enough from the roamer not to get agro.

I have succored across SG quite a few times.... often there is no agro, but if people are pulling to the zoneline there, or if that darn ulthork type thing gets wind of you, then you do get agro. Generally I put my map up just before egressing, so i can see my little arrow self land on the map, then turn and scoot out of there before anything can notice me...

Best of luck to you, I have left a few corpses there and always such a pain to find someone to come and rez ya.

SG and I have always had a hate/hate relationship. And yes, I'm one of those folks who is invariably found by the seahorses the second I jump in the water. I've also found the agro roamer ... at the succor spot, in an otherwise empty zone, while I am naked and trying to succor through. When he invites the others there to join him in turning you into a chewtoy, if you haven't hit the ground running, and are prone to being stunned, you can make a pretty corpse there, especially if running through alone. While it's not a big chance of it happening, it obviously can and does happen.
