I second Froni's idea. All we need is to have the various moderators (if they want to) flag various posts for as ones that may be of interest to the developers.

That may change the complexion of these message boards since it's kinda been taboo to post here with the purpose of getting the attention of the developers.

And it is absolutely not going to happen.

We're honored that SoE Development staff choose to frequent these boards, reading and posting where they see fit. But, EQTraders is not now nor should it be, an offical conduit to SoE. Changing over to that role would destroy the community atmosphere and overload the volunteer staff enormously. Niami and Ngreth have made it very clear that the site is enough of a job as it is. Making it "the offical pipeline to Sony" would just burden them more.

SoE is doing the right thing here by calling for volunteers. And really, I beleive that to be a more valuable way to handle player-feedback than re-purposing EQ Traders Corner.
