I have a suggestion for the recipe pricing section but I don't have the option to reply to any of the threads there. So, can someone move this there please?

Here is what I did for alchemy for a raiding body I helped support. I think it gives a more realistic expectation of cost than just vendor pricing..

I decided to look into Alchemy and thought there were a few potions that some of you might like to have access to. I went ahead and stocked up on a few and will see which ones there is interest in. I am only asking that you reimburse my cost or supply the materials. If you reimburse my cost, I have figured in a 5% fail on trivial and a 20% fail on >200 for all 10 Dose potions. These prices are available ONLY to CURRENT RAIDERS . So …The following is a list of items I thought would be useful but take a look at Alchemy Recipes and if you see something else you would like made, let me know and I’ll be glad to help. Any item listed can be made as a single or 5 dose for 1/10th or half the listed price respectively. There are also lesser potions of the same type that cost less. I'm showing the highest skill items but can make any lvl ya want

The "recipe pricing section" which you are refering too was closed by Ngreth, due to lack of any serious desire by the general tradeskill population to voice their desire. He opened it to discuss the possibilities of having the EQ Traders Website track the costs of recipes based upon the component costs. It was not intended to be a forum to post selling ideas for individual traders. That is what the Marketplace Forums are form.

This thread is more a specific way to price Alchemy Potions for you as a Shaman. Not a generic mechanism to track any recipe cost.

This thread does NOT belong there... it belongs in the Marketplace for your specific Server... or at best, the Alchemy Forum.
