Heard conflicting reports of sociality of the rats and bats.
I've heard that at 50 they start to assist each other. A 53 BL was asking about the zone, and then later asking for a rez. I expect that unles the rats and bats were immune to slow, he'd have had no problems with singles. However, someone else said that at 55 they were not social.
I can say for sure that at 48 the rats and bats are not social. However, they really give my monk a working over; he can solo about 40 percent of the rats and bats, the others are just too tough for him. Duoing, with another 48 monk, we were both getting a blue bub of xp every 5 mobs.
My 35 nec can solo here easily enough, by fear kiting. My 36 zerk can also solo here well enough, with downtime for healing every 2 to 4 mobs.
I agree, this is a zone more for the lower level people. Its fairly easy to get to, can be solo'd, but at higher levels its not soloable, and the horror stories I've heard for 65 makes me very reluctant to take my ranger here.
