Believe me I'm not complaining, but with the new Tradeskill interface, you can go to "Experiment" mode and fill the bag with whatever you want, but then open it with the new UI and still do combines without emptying the bag?

I'm a bit slow, and just discovered that tonight. It's a huge plus for me.

Assuming you mean for portable containers...yes, I believe so. My deluxe tailoring kit that's full of collapsible containers and other implements has been churning out whatever tailored items I need with no complaint. I just had to learn and make them favorites on the loom first. And if I recall correctly, there was something about this being nerfed in the April 1 (Fool's Day) Patch Message that was entirely fake, which indicates that they're aware it works this way and don't seriously intend to change it. I hope.

I remember one of the devs (I want to say Tanker, but I'm not sure) posted early on that this was by design.

You can also have items in stationary tradeskill containers and use the UI mode to do combines. I don't necessarily recommend it for personal storage, though. =)

It is really nice but I don't see it being nerfed anytime soon. If one wants to do a combine that is not know - the container must still be emptied out while you "experiment".
