Abysmal Sea Hand-ins vs. Your Own Combines

Well after probably close to 200 combines of each, I'm finally seeing 3 yields per combine of nihilite and aligned ores. So just to give encouragement to those out there, it IS possible to get 3 per combine, it just takes forever. On the upside, once you get three, you'll never just get one anymore.

I did the smithing quests (4 sets of 100 combines), popped my aligned ore in forge, out popped 3 bars. First time.

Yea, just read they fixed it. Kinda sucky considering I bought so much ore to raise it, but oh well... =)

I don't think it's a fix - well, at least not a permanent one . Quoting Absor from the "GoD Conversions" thread (25th post in thread, currently the last):

I hate to say this, but it also sounds like a bug... I'll have to go look at it again.

200 combines before or after the latest patch (GoD retuning patch)?

Before the patch, I was getting 1 or 2 leaves ever time from Taelosian tea leaves. Then I did a batch of ten leaves and this time I was always getting 2 or 3 leaves. Sounds a bit like a stealth fix to me. <shrugs>
