OKie.. just spent 4 hours in Natimbi kiting Hynids. I Dot kite (65 woodelf bard) and have forage/autoinventory linked to my right arrow.. then I kite in big cirlces to the right so I'm constantly foraging as I kill.
Noticed Foraging: in 4 hours of continual foraging when it would pop, I got 1 13lb cragbeast meat.. No other meats foraged at all. I got 2 moldy tea leaves, 3 handfuls of twigs and leaves, 2 purple worms, 3 dolara pollen, and 1 ruhiri berry. 12 things in 4 hours...sad.. really sad.. I used to get 12 an hour at least.

Now as for seeing how much they hit for now vs. the past? they don't hit me, never have, so am clueless there. It did seem that I got 1 hynid blood every hour, actually, I got 5... had alot of totally empty corpses though too. prolly 2 outta 3 had absolutely nothing on them. I got 1 mane, and one flawless hynid hide.

Oh and I love the fact they no longer mindlessly aggro on me. No adds means safe kiting.

I normally charm those hynid things and have noticed they hit 25% less damage.

As for drops I haven't noticed any difference, and foraging, I'm yet to do a lot of it.

That would probably be part of the whole 'Making GoD zones more appropriate for their level' thing. A L45 highly-resistant hyena-thing that quads for 150 makes for a nice pet, but a lousy thing to fight against.

Anyway, my tuppence worth, bearing in mind that I didn't spend that much time in GoD at all before the patch:
        Before
I could, very carefully, fearkite tureptas in Natimbi. When fear broke I had to run off and reapply fear from a distance before it could actually hit me, otherwise my downtime was too long. I simply could not fearkite hynids due to their high damage output, proc and insanely high resist rates. Overall, it wasn't worth trying to xp there. Drops I have no idea on because I can't forage and there was no point in trying to kill the mobs.

        After
I can now fearkite tureptas and hynids well enough that it is worth the attempt. The resists on hynids are toned down enough that there is a point in trying to get spells to land on them, without making it too easy. I'm not going to comment on drop rate because, as stated above, I have no idea what it was like before.

Shame that the restless souls are still immune to fear, though.

I'm just going to drop a preemptive warning in here. Please keep the posts in this thread constructive. If you'd like to rant about the change, we have a forum for it. It'd be great if this post could provide SOE with the feedback they need to fix the problems.

And constructive does NOT mean positive. You can disagree or dislike, just do it with respect, not ranting, insults or "personal" (SOE) attacks.

              from http://www.shadowknight.org/forums/s...5&pagenumber=2

Last night we did Tipt myself, a paladin, warrior, cleric ranger and shaman.

I tanked it all the way up to cragbeast mother without any problems.

The warrior had 400 more hp but almost 600 less ac than I did, still we had to use him to tank the cragmother cause I [couldn't].

Conclusion, yard trash was nerfed, bosses are still an issue.

Later in the evening a fellow paladin with over 10k buffed hps went to Ikkinz for a 1 group trial and went splat in the first named, said that instead of hitting 8 times for max damage in a row now the named only hit 5 times for max in a row.

I hunted in Natimbi the first 5 hours the servers came back after the patch. I had spent over 50 hours in the zone before patch, mainly using DC hynid to kill the stuff around turtle pond. Here are my observations:

-Drop rate is definitely higher for all tradeskill stuff. In 5 hours, I think I was averaging a tradeskill drop per 4 mobs killed. I saw more hynid blood (4) in 5 hours than I would expect to see in 20 before. MUCH IMPROVED.
-A lot of the No Drop, but no use items were changed to vendor bait. So there was more cash per mob. The normal research items and other no drop stuff still dropped at the same rate. IMPROVEMENT
-Since the animals no longer aggro and don't social, the zone is a breeze now. Definitely toned down the hitting as well as my DC pet took longer to kill the beasties. A 58 ranger in my guild was commenting how easy it was to solo fear kite the mobs (and even tanking was possible for awhile). The big improvement in the aggro for animals is that the zone in is no longer the train death trap it could get to be. The only problem is that it is a very small zone, so there could be lots of competition. IMPROVEMENT

And the thing I was most concerned about, refinements. Below is the item category and my refinements pre patch and post patch (just the last 3-5 pre patch):
                -Ore Pre (1,1,2,1) Post (3,3,2,2,3,3,2,2,2)
                -Tea Pre (1,1,2,1,2) Post (2,3,2,2,2,3,2)
                -Stone Pre (1,2,1) Post (3,3)
-Raw Pale Pre (2,1,1,2) Post (2,2,3,3,2,3,2,3)
                -Rock Pre (1,1,1,2) Post (2,2,2,2,2,2,3,2,3,3,2,2)
                -Wheat Pre (1,2,2,2,1) Post (2,2)

In the above categories except Stone and Wheat, I had refined over 30 pre patch of each (about 150 total) and never saw a 3. So the above results are a much welcome change. Either they added one to the formula or moved up the progression curve a lot (Side Note: I think they added to the formula as the 3 stones above were the ONLY stones pre patch that I had refined...it seems rather out of place that I would immediately get into 3 refinements from such a small sample). MUCH IMPROVED

Overall, the Tier 1 tradeskill drops are now much more accessible to Level 50 folks, which is a good thing for the tradeskill community IMO since I've never been a big fan of flag limitations to tradeskill stuff. Since I haven't ventured deeper into GoD yet, I don't have a comment about the other zones.

Did that remove that annoying See-Invis roamer who paths through the "Graveyard"/Corpse-Summon guy in Qinmi?

Had a bad death there, was in the middle of asking him to summon my corpse, and some spiky headed jerk with no sense of decency stomped me into oblivion.

I noticed as well last night that I got 3 aligned bars back from both of the combines I did, where I had got 2 before only.

The vendors in Natimbi were pretty full with stuff that had dropped in the zone, so evidently someone likes it there.

According to Absor in the thread here the improved yields on conversions might be a bug.

"might" turns out to be the wrong word. It definitely was/is a bug. When I fixed the problem that was causing the recipes not to be learned I messed up the returns. It was always giving one extra item.
