Failure rate up since patch?

I am a Wizard spell researcher - 200 skill - 5% modifier.

Prior to last patch I would do all my combines in bank in Shadow Haven - average one failure in every 25 combines. Yes, I did a bunch of combines - about 100 (only one or two failures) since Casino restarted.

I just had 5 failures in 10 combines in SH!

So I moved to my hometown of Felwithe - 3 failures in 8 combines! So I packed up my lexicon and came here to post.

Anyone else notice any significant change since last patch? - or - did the Law of Averages just catch up with me?

Yes, I upgraded my drivers.

The RNG is rather fickle. Did you sacrifice a gnome first? Perhaps slay an orc or two? I've gone 10 for 10 with PoP combiens then come crashing down with 1 for 7. What the RNG gives the RNG takes away.
