  • Farming tradeskill items for pp

just returning to game and i am a 65 broke shaman in need of some updated gear.
i'd like to know if there are any items that i can farm that would yeild good pp?not sure what is still in high demand that sells well for good profit vs time camped.
i'm not really interested in doing tradeskill myself, just helping others in their endeavor while trying to get a lil slice for me

    thanks!

Metallic Liquid (drops off Golems in POV at random) are a decent tradeskill farm item. On Tarew Marr they sell for 4 - 5k each, I'd assume similiar on other servers. Plus the XP while you're farming them isn't half bad.

        lets see:

Tradeskill Components that are always in demand:

        - Acrylia
        - Velium
        - arctic wyvern hides
        - othmir hides
        - cobalt drake hids
        - panther hides
        - Beat/Cat/Wolf hides (LQ, MQ, HQ)
        - Rockhopper hides (LQ, MQ, HQ, Superb, Flawless)
        - Spider & Spiderling Silks
        - Shadeling Silks
        - etc

Other components that fetch higher prices but have less frequent drop rates:

        - drop of pure rain
        - metallic liquid
        - grallok quartz
        - alkaline etched stone
        - highly polished gem
        - stormwatchers stone
        - bricks of electrified copper ?
        - slargilug parts
        - putrescent blood
        - bubonian blood ?
        - chips of granite

Elemental Drops people who arent flagged would love but that also have uncommon or rare drop rates:

        - regrua claws
        - oil of a frog
        - fog fragment
        - obsidianwood sap
        - XXXX mephit blood (earth/air/fire/water) ?
        - solidified magma
        - vegerog vine
        - wind metal
        - air arachnid silk
        - fiend gut
        - chunk of e'cian ice
        - slargilug kelp strands

Above lists are by no means complete, but you get the idea

Doesn't Iksar blood fetch a nice price too?

Iksar blood prices dropped quite a bit on Druzzil Ro when LoY came out, since it dropped more frequently off mobs in those zones. However, I haven't check in awhile so they may still bring in some okay plat if you farm a lot of them.

(Edit: Meant to add the following stuff.)

I know this thread was about farming stuff, but many high level tradeskillers or power tradeskillers will pay for subcombine items like Celestial Essences, Heady Kiolas, Leather Padding, various tempers, etc.

              Heady Kiolas, Leather Padding,
I agree, I continue to sell all those that I take the time to make, along with Wyvern skins and Cobalt Cod.

If you have a foraging alt (Ranger, Druid, etc) or are interested in making one, these items sell Very well:

                Yew Leaf
                Tea Leaf
                Tuft of Dire Wolf Fur
                Misty Acorn
                Justice Fruit
                Lichenclover
                Plains Pebble

Fruit, Vegatables, and Roots on occasion
                Most egg types

Just to name a few from common zones...

If you are interested in a better list, go sit in the bazaar for a couple hours and shop. Check prices... See what sells and what dont... You will soon find out what you can supply and what you cant. Buy some trader satchels and load them with supplies... Price your items at or near the lowest of those already for sell (Never Undercut Current Traders ... Extremely Bad Manners ... Your Karma will be completely nerfed and you will anger the Trader Gods!!!)

When you go to work or to sleep, just click off your monitor and leave your trader up. Hope for a nice surprise when you return.

                            Sea Foam

I will take all the Sea foam you can get from the cyclops island. Windstones are nice too. Anything that is cheap but raises ones skills.
