Can someone who does not worship Karana, receive the mark?

I don't believe so, but I never tried. This appears to be one of those rare occasions that us Karana worshippers actually came out on top. Getting to 188 Smithing on Arrowheads is really sweet

Couple of other posts on this. Try to use the search function. Other than that, no, it is not possible for a non-karana worshiper to get the mark. I do not know, however, if there is an exception on the FV server where no drop items can be traded.
