    Two comments on the ore breakdown subject:

    1) How about making one block break down to TWO large bricks which each break down to TWO small bricks which each break down to TWO small pieces?

    2) How about doing a similar weapon breakdown for VELIUM weapons to ore like the one that is in place for regular fine steel stuff?

      /concur on the elemental tradeskill components for armor
      Up the drop rate pretty please. Nice armor that is completely useless once a guild is done hard farming elementals - and no one else is gonna get that much of the rare components farming solo in a group.

          overstock

          I like the idea of rotating the stock to put the new items at the top. I would even more so like to see an overstock dealer. Simply put, it is the surplus store. When a vendor gets more than 80 items, anything and everything else goes to an overstock dealer in town. I imagine people would be camping him, but with so many folks selling so much in POK it would give many folks opportunities to get very cool stuff.

            Fan Faire question

            While it isn't tradeskill related, I do have a question I'd like asked at Fan Faire. Contrary to what television would have us think, 8 is NOT enough. Of course I'm referring to spell slots. I don't expect them to double the number of slots, but even 2 more would be a boon. I'm a shaman and am tired of always having to juggle spells in the middle of a fight. I wouldn't mind if they even made this cost AA points. Just something to let me have more spells memorized without having to get items with the same spell effect.

              It's been stated that there are around 3000 undiscovered recipies in the game. Are there any plans to add any hints in game to help in their discovery?
              I have no idea where you'd have gotten that idea -- Possibly twisted the "3000 undiscovered items" post and my post mentioning a few of them being tradeskilled -- Nevertheless, I'm squishing that rumor right now before it gets out of hand.

                Also, I think it's great you guys are collaborating and compiling your questions together in one place. Keep working on that, get a list of any and all questions you want to ask, I just have one teeny tiny request.

                In order to get the most amount of TS questions answered in the relatively short time we've been alotted...

                Please separate out the tradeskill specific questions from those that will need to be asked in the Live Panels. (IE. Hybrid Disciplines).

                    I'm curious...

                    Why is LDoN Deep Cavern armor made using swamp temper made from pondweed, instead of from Deep Cavern Fungus? Did you put pondweed in the recipe by mistake?

                        How about creating a tradeskill only container, that sits in your bank, and allows larger stacks (like 40 in a stack, instead of 20). But when you take an item out of the bank, you could only take out 20. Or better yet, just increase the size of the stacks for everything from 20 to 30.

                          Oops, my very bad, I meant to say items rather than recipies. Bad bad spelling mistake, must stop posting while barely awake. I mean, are there any plans for clues to help us discover some of these items?

                          Heh, meant items rather than recipies since I assume a fairly large number of them comes from undiscovered quests. If they were pure drops we'd probably have found more of them by now. EQ players have this way of killing everything that's possible to kill and looting it just to make sure they're not missing anything.

                            How come halberds, axes, and scimitars were skipped in the new GoD weapon recipes, after being in all the other smithed weapon sets?

                            Will there ever be recipes (not quests) for new items that require more than one skill over 200 (because of nodrop subcombines)? Currently there is no significant need/use for the Tanaan Mastery AA other than the Aid Grimel quest, that couldn't be handled just as well by several characters without the AA.

                            Will the yields ever be improved for ore breakdown (ie chisel + brick = smaller bricks)?

                            Could we please get tokens for non-weight-reducing bags too? Some of those are expensive and marketable and we want to sell them in bazaar too (ie reinforced jewelry kit or black marble mortar and pestle).

                            (seperate) Will the effect of Mesmeration Mastery (GoD AA) on the Word of Morell spell be nerfed? Right now it roughly doubles the length of that particular spell, making the effect of the spell outlast the recast time, and many people predict/fear a nerf.

                              Questions:
                              1. Is there a greater chance of skilling up with a sucessful combine than with a failed combine?

                              2. (similar but different) Is the chance for a skill up greater for combines with trivials closer to your skill? ie, will you skill up from 0-20 in brewing in fewer combines (on average) making MHB (triv 248) or Short Beers (triv 31)?

                              3. Is there a cap (hard or soft) on the additional chance for skill ups from having Int/Wis >255? >280? >305?


                              Requests:
                              1. With the new tradeskill UI, can you have the return key perform the search for recipies in addtion to mouse clicking the search button.

                              2. Second (third/forth/whatever) the request for better ratio when breaking down ore (also see #7 below).

                              3. Can NPC vendor decide not to try to resell loot whos only purpose in life is to be sold back to vendors (e.g. Wrurln Claw)

                              4. Can there be a way to extract the chain from the solstice robe. It kind of defies logic to want fail a combine. If not, is there a way we can get a negative geerlok that reduces our tailoring skill by 90%.

                              5. Can there be some exceptions made for the quest recipies not being learnable (e.g. Enchanted Velium Bits)

                              6. Can the AutoInventory button be made to put all the items back in your bags (item made and hammer/needle/file/whatever).

                              7. How bout the possibility of varying degrees of sucess (in regards to quantity produced) on some combines based on your skill. This would be making a quantity of 6 or 7 arrows (instead of 5) occasionally if your skill is way higher than the trivial. This could also provide the means for satisfying the ore conversion request (it just makes sense that I highly trained smith should be able to chisle a block of ore into two or more bricks/pieces).

                              Tending towards class related stuff (ie foraging):
                              1. Since most people now have the /doability x /autoinventory set up for their forage skill tied to their left/right keys is there a possibility of just making foraging automatic (ie every two minutes a new foraged items is dropped in your inventory). Maybe as an AA purchase.

                              2. Is it possible to have the forage engine check to see if you already have something that's lore before attempting to give you another lore item (e.g. Ripened Heartfruit) and give you something else instead.

                              How much squishing is needed here? i.e. How many undiscovered recipies are there?

                                Tradeskill

                                Is there a plan to unnerf fletching and pottery? They are not a easy tradeskill to learn by far, yet why they are nerfed? Especially fletching, as it is the about only useful skill even if ur skill is loww. The skill that deseverd a nerf is probably brewing and JC which is the easiest.

                                Tailoring

                                There needs to be some additional path to at least low 200s. The drop rate of superb and flawless hide is simply too low to make them a viable skill up method.

                                Pottery

                                Make unfire ceramic Lining stackable please.

                                Celestial Essence

                                Any possible to make it batch combine?

                                Absymal Sea (I know i spell it wrong)

                                Wayfarer camp is so powerful, put a magus there?

                                GoD

                                Currently, a lot of GoD content is too hard. There is no one exping in Qinimi or Brandu because a) the mob hit too hard b) exp is very bad c) mob are too crowded make CC a necessary. I solo some in Brandu, hit for 6xx, flurry and proc 610 DD and all of those is 2% AA. there are also various named mob in the T1 zone where no guild that is capable to do them. Currently GoD is only for time guild - time guild that farm time for a long time. It is a waste of contents. PoP was not only for people who clear VT months. Also, since very few people go to GoD, the rtadeskill component is equally rare.

                                Also, what's so funny about putting the quest NPC in deep of a zone surrounded by 200 mobs? When yo uare trying to read the quest text suddenly a mob come up and kill you is not that fun. Also, why everything must be faster than soe? Not everyone is a bard or pal or sk or have the fastest horse/lizard. Also, the succor point is not safe as all, so why put a succor point at all? So you evac the group out of danger only to find a see invis soe+ speed mob is able to finish your group?

                                LDoN

                                After the released of GoD, the cash loot as well as the exp from LDoN is stealth nerfed. Any reason to do this? people will still not go to GoD even if you nerf LDoN..

                                Zones

                                There are so many zone that are useless. So instead of adding expansion which create another bunch of unused zone why not just revamp the old one instead?

                                Spell Criticals

                                At least wizard discover their critical AA is being stealth nerfed to force them buy the new GoD AA. ANy updates?

                                Druid

                                Any idea to help druids? Druids nuke 60% as well as wizard, heal 60% as well as cleric however that does not make them a 120% class. because druid can only do 1 such thing at a time. Currently the only advantage druid over cleric in GoD trial is the ability to snare, which is shared by necro, sk, ranger, druid, wizard, bezerker and to some extents bard.

                                GoD AA

                                Druid currently has no unique GoD AA. Same as bezerker. who dont have unique AA anywhere. There are also a lot of AA that is overpriced yet have minimal usage such as the healing ward.
