NO DROP components

sea temper is made with 2 mugs of sea foam, saltwater seaweed (no drop), bottle of fish wine and trivials at 135.

my question is, if my guildmate puts the saltwater seaweed (no drop) into the brew barrel, then closes it and i open it, will the saltwater seaweed still be in it for me to add the other components and do the combine?

Saltwater Seaweed has been tradable since November 19

To answer your general question, though, NODROP items vanish when a world tradeskill container that holds them closes. The button to close the container now grays out when a NODROP item is placed inside, but the container can still close by moving far enough away.

It can also be fished in Timourous Deep, if you know a druid or Wizard doing the raptors there.

Saltwater Seaweed

I fished this for a while today. With a fishing skill of 187, I was getting 1 per about 7 fishing attempts in Timorous Deep, so a reasonable rate. It is tradeable as listed above but please note IT IS NOT STACKABLE

NODROP items vanish when a world tradeskill container that holds them closes

I would have guessed this to be true without testing it. If it were possible to put a NODROP tradeskill items in the container and have it stay there, it would be a difficult coding problem to prevent this from not also working for weapons, armor, quest items, etc. You'd have people in bazaar selling off jboots, planar armor, and who knows what else and you'd find the person selling them camped over by the loom.
