Favorite Receipes after 3/10 patch

when i do a combine it says
"Requesting favorite recipes..."

i fashioned VMB which i had not done before, then did a search for it in my favorites and it would not find any

Did you add it to your favorites? When you made it once and got the message that you had learned it, that just made it available in your learned recipes. You would then have to search for it and add it to your favorites in order for it to be listed in your favorites.

That's still bugged? I had the same thing happen to me with Jord Meat Pies. Was working on baking during a NTOV raid, and doing all of that by hand was annoying. I guess all the POP baking recipes are similiarly bugged, time to /bug every hour.

I have to manually add it to my favorites? Before the patch when i made something new it would say i learned it and then it would be added to my searchable recipes. It appears as if the favorites is not available anymore.

You are talking about 2 different things.

The Learned list is a list of all recipes that are automatically learned or have been succesfully completed by the player. Searching is the only way to display any recipes on this list.

The Favorites list is a list of recipes selected by the player from all of the learned recipes. This list is displayed automatically when the tradeskill UI is opened and anytime the SHOW button is pressed. Recipes are only added to this list by the player pressing the ADD button when the desired recipe is selected.

It is very possible that the recipe for VMB (whatever that is) is not learnable, either through oversight or design. If this is the case feel free to /bug the recipe. The SOE designers are still working to get all the data for all the recipes correct.

Collapsable kits are not accessing your Favorites list, nor are they remembering your learned recipies.

This makes Collapsable kits less valuable.

and when i create an item it should tell me i learned how to make that item (ie, you've learned how to make enchanted velium bits)
in the case of the EVB it did NOT say i learned it, even tho i successfully made them. can i not learn it if it's too far below my skill? (i had to equip a geerlok to be able to make it)

As I recall, many quest recipes weren't learnable?

EVB's, though many folks use them as a skill-up path, are in game as a specific quest recipe. They may not be learnable.

Angelsyn, For whatever it is worth, my collapsible mixing bowl has remembered all the sauced meat recipes I 'Learned' yesterday. I can't speak to Favorites as I still have not used that feature.

Another issue with the Jord Meat, Justice etc...is that we are calling out the wrong bug.

All PoP recipes are supposed to be able to be made ONLY in a tanaan tradeskill container, if you recall, the JC combines do not work in a collapsible kit, you have to use a planar (or at least you had to.) It isn't learning your justice pies in your spit because you aren't supposed to be able to make them with it, that is what they created the deliniated Tanaan containers for. (One of the few items that seems to be following this is the Aid Grimel Brewing device, still won't combine tanaan tempers, unfortunately, that is because the grimel machine works =/)

Enchanted Velium Bits will not get added to your recipe list and most recipes will. I don't believe it has anything to do with the trivial, and everything to do with Sony not allowing certain recipes to get learned. So far all the unlearnable ones have been "oops, we'll add it"s or quest recipes. That's why everyone says Quest recipes won't get added.

Ummm, no. I would have to dig around and find the patch message, but I rather distinctly remember the patch in which they announced that collapsible containers would now do PoP combines, with a few specific exceptions. I remember, because I was thrilled and promptly bought several
