  • How do I buy Thicken Mana Spell?

I need to buy the Thicken Mana spell for my Enchanter so I could make Vials of Viscous Mana for my tradeskills.
Any idea what tactic I could use to make the Brownies sell my Enchanter the spell Thicken Mana?
Anyother vendors sell spell:Thicken Mana besides the Brownies?

Since you are going to need vials in mass quantities anyways, go buy the Mass Thicken Mana spell from the vendor in East Commonlands (near the Wayfarer’s camp.) You will enchant 5 vials at a time that way.

      Thank You

Excellent thank you......and the other components to make Viscous Mana are all store bought as well?
I need these vials to get my tailoring skill raised and I want to do it with easy to obtain components. My skill is at 82 right now.

The components are sold by vendors, take a look at the mainboards for specific vendors.

If you do want to get the spells from the brownies, then, you need to coopt a druid to wolfform you, that generally makes you nonKoS to the brownies.

          Mass Thicken Mana

For that Mass Thicken Mana spell sold in East Commons......does it give you 5 Vials of Viscous Mana at the cost of only 1 Pearl and 1 Poison Vial? Or is it 5 components used up per cast?

Yes. The spells are also sold in High Keep and/or Feliwthe, but I'm a little hazy on who/where.

5 components each turn into 5 vials. just saves the casting (and casting and casting... yes i made an enchanter to feed my smithing addictions, then tailoring, bakin... anway).

20 components use 4 casts (and a full mana bar depending).

Heh, I made my chanter because I hadn't made one before... He's up to 24th level.

In high keep, main floor, when you come off the main hallway heading for the bank there's like three or four doors on the right side of that room. the female erudite that sells the mana spells, and enchant metal spells is in one of those rooms.

Mass enchant helped me get 2 characters to 158 tailoring in a matter of a couple days, even with a level 24's mana pool.

The Thicken Mana line of spells are also sold on the boat in the Abysmal Sea on the Common Spells vendor.

Nope. Need Illusion from a druid. Sony nerfed faction with enchanter illusions, but left it in place for their 'special little class'.

When illusions were changed one of the side effects was chanters being unable to buy the single shot spells - so in a later patch the spells were also put in everyone's favorite middle-of-nowhere place Highhold Keep so chanters could get their spells without the 'Charm Druid PC' skill.

If you're a completist who cringes at the thought of having a missing spell I'd recommend making one big trip to the place for all the various chanter spells they only sell there. It can be nice to have the single shot spells, especially of higher level and higher cost mana vials like purified and distilled.

                              Let me get this straight...

If you are a high elf agnostic enchanter you can still use an evil race illusion to go to the OT outpost?

Does this explain the reason why both my Veeshan HEF bard and Tribunal barb rog using DE form can't get into the OT?
Not even the bard using faction song can get in there.
They have never killed any TD ogres.

The bard is scowl to Dread Guard outer normally.

Put on DE form he is threat I think it was.

                              Sing song he is amiable.

OT must be an odd place then.
