Tradeskill Window problem

For instance, I made a smoked hero parts in my spit, got a message that said I learned the recipe. Opened up my Tradeskill Window and typed in Search but nothing comes up. Have tried by searching a single word and even changing max/min Have also tried making a few more in case. Can anyone help? :-)

Was it a collapsible spit? I've noticed that the same thing happens when I use some of my collapsible containers but the recipes show up on the regular containers.
