Quest Combines Broken

Not a tradeskill issue per se, but I'm guessing it has to do with a bug created by the new tradeskill interface.

I completed all the steps of Coldain Ring 9 and went to do the combine and nothing happened. Didn't lose the box or items, but nothing happens at all. If you take an item out, you get the usual "cannot combine" message.

I posted on the Safehouse and apparently other people have had this problem with Coldain Ring 9. Also the Xegony key and the Clockwork Talisman combines were mentioned as not working.

Any one have this problem or are you seeing similar problems with any tradeskill combines? Trying to isolate the issue and see how widespread it is.

Shawl #2

Same problem here with the Shawl #2 last night. Went to combine the box of heads and no message, no combine, nothing.

I've heard of similar problems elsewhere. Supposedly the PoK teleport necklace combines and Xegony's Key(?) have the same problem since the last patch.

Could this be that you are adding the items to the new Tradeskill interface window and not to the actual bag? Try closing the trade skill interface window by clicking on the experimentation button and see if that fixes the problem.

Last night, one of my guildmates had the identical problem re: 9th ring combine

Same problem with making the key to get to Xegony in the Plane of Air in PoP. The quest key components won't combine in the pouch.

I wonder if this means the combine for the 8th shawl is messed up too. I'm in the process of finishing up the 7th shawl now and have all the armor made for the 8th shawl. Was planning on doing it this weekend but now I'm not sure if I should try it. I'd hate to summon the Dain and then not be able to combine the box to hand it back to him.

The combine for Shawl #8 currently is not working, according to a post on (I think) Paladins of Norrath.

So yeah, you might want to wait.

There is a post in the pottery section indicating that Ayyad's Bowl can no longer be used to make the grey clay needed for the Vah SHir progressive pottery quest.

Iksar Warrior Pikes

Just noticed last week that the final combines for the Iksar Warrior Legionaire mancatchers quests dont work either. Kinda relieved in a way to see that it's widespread..hopefully it will get more attention that way.

The combine for the Qeynos Badge of Nobility (writ of execution and head of barducks darkpaw in black satchel) worked on Friday, Feb 20. Apparently not all quest combines are broken.

Same problem for the Stupendous Tome Combine in 'The Always Works' machine in Droga. Errr -- The Always Works Machine doesn't work.
