  • Components disapear when you learn....

I hope this topic wasn't clarifyed yet so you wont blame me for repeating the same.

I am almost sure it didn't work like this before new TS UI.

Yesterday I tried to make Rallic Pack for my alt. My mistake was I had already one in my inventory and used this new TS window i combined one.

It gave me info "You have learnt new reciepe.." or something like that. That is OK.

But what was not nice it gave me also info - "You cannot have Lore Item - you already have one..." or something like this and all components disapeared.

I hope it is not like it should be - otherwise it will be a pitty if you will loose components which are hard to get.

Could anyone please let me know if it is a bug or we have to leave with that forever.

    edit previous post

Sorry I didnt find edit button .... so regarding my previous post ..

my main question is - if this disapearing of items comes from Duplicated LORE ITEM beeing combinning or from "learning" new reciepe process.

      Helloo there :>

The problem was because you already had a LORE item in your inventory. I made the mastake once of making the Levi/EB spells from the research combine for the level 51 spells. I made one of each then tried another. i did not noticed they were LORE. I hope this answers your question.

Zudelvar is correct. Fortunately, few tradeskill items are lore, so this isn't something you'll encounter often.

Oh, and the edit button is at the lower right-hand corner of your post, next to "quote."

        Hope that helps,

          A couple things on this.

If you don't know the recipe, I don't see how you used the new UI to make the pack at all. You had to have hit the experiment button, then combined it the old fashioned way in order to learn the recipe.

It has always worked this way with lore items. If you already have one in your inventory, and you try to make a new one, it will poof, and you will be out the components. So, no, it is not a bug.

Aye. Velium armor, IIRC, Rallic Packs, Black Acrylia Weapons...

It is kind of a plus when making EVBs though. Just keep one in your inventory and you don't ever have to mess with that stupid destroy button.
