What they need for the skills window is a 4th column to sort by - 'category'. So that languages could be grouped in one group, combat skills in another, trade skills in another, class skills in another and spell skills in another. This way I wouldn't have to hunt around to find my trade skills or class skills.
One thing I would love to have. A short notes box next to my ignored names. I hate it when I find out I've had a groupmate on ignore and I can't remember what that specific person did to piss me off. Was that the jerk that repeatedly trained us back when we were 30th lvls? Was it the guy who kept spamming group invites and hails? Or the chick who kept asking for stuff and pl plz? There's some people who might get taken off the list if I knew - and some others who'll get of that list right after I gain the ability to solo Quarm. That is, never.
Next to the LFG button I'd love to see a Who group button. You're right in that it is rather funny that with all the abilities we have gained we still have to ask what class people are on entering the average group.
Actually what I would love is, ok you know those UIs where you can get the full spell name of your buffs on the buff window? I'd really love it if the buffs there would fade counter backwards. Not sure I'm saying it right, I mean, lets say the background for a beneficial buff is blue, it starts out fully blue and then it fades out as the buff is spent, until there's almost nothing left of the blue before it blinks out. I know you can use UI timers and I do use them. But not like what I'm describing though and they are clunky and have to be reset all the time.
EQ couriers. Wouldn't it be great if the nice Antonican bards who deliver all those letters could also deliver items to people you're rarely online to meet? If for a price you could 'mail' them an item that is. I'm not talking about a trade system, just a way for person X in time zone A to send item Y to person Z in time zone B without putting any complicated money workarounds into the mix.
