  • cheapest way to 250?

i'm on the xev sever and i don't really have a lot of pp to throw around. My cleric never seems to make a lot of money. I am really interested inthe tradeskill trophy though. so....

which trade skill is probably the cheapest to get to 250?

where might i find a decent guide for said trade skill?

thanks in advance for your input!

Brewing Trophy is the most expensive to make.

Do brewing. The trophy does take a corking device, but a lot of the time you can get them fairly cheap if you ask (I only charge 1k for it if people send me a tell, otherwise it stays at the 2000 normal price) So yeah, the trophy is expensive unless you know a gnome, if you do it's not so bad. But the device is it's still going to be as expensive if not more so than GMing another trade. JC is easy but would cost you a lot more money to GM. Baking it's pretty easy if you can get a few things in enough quantity, but not as cheap as brewing overall when factored in the expensive components.

Baking isn't as cheap or easy as Bewing, but as Lilosh said, the trophy for brewing is expensive and a PITA (takes a corking device, which is consumed on success AND failure). Baking is fun and can be a good introduction into other tradeskills, such as smithing, pottery, tailoring, and brewing. The trophy requires a seal and a dairy spoon, which is cheaply smithed.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Aye, after failing my GM corker FIVE times, it kinda hurt the ole pocket book. But to get to 250, I think I spent only 300pp (not including my corking device, got that for 900pp back in the day) in total... Just made sure that I had a CHA buff when I was buying and selling my brews!

Tailoring is next on my 'must make 250' list as I am a halfling, but going to work on baking while I'm at it.... I just know I'll GM baking first...

              /sigh

250 in brewing with a trophy! All other trade skills? /sigh don't ask.
