    Helloo there :>

I would like to thank all of the Developers that worked so hard to make the new Trade Skill UI possible. There have been many post, including mine, that have posted what is missing, what should be there, etc. Let's take a step back and say thanks to those for their hard work already done. And also work on the new recipes, whether or not they can be learned or not. Just my 2 copper pieces worth. :>

No tradeskiller in his right mind would dispute that the new interface makes things MUCH easier for all of us. Many hearty thanks for the folks who decided to go with this, and many more hearty thanks for the folks who actually had to code it in!

I would like to join in saying thank you for taking the time and effort to develop the new tradeskill UI. It looks very nice and what little I got to play with yesterday seemed to work very nicely.

Big thanks from this corner as well. As a Lanys T'Vyl cleric with her third prayer shawl, you've made achieving the 8th shawl a much more likely proposition

Another fan of the new tradeskill UI. It makes trying to skill up in pottery fun and much less tedious. It's fun again! and I imagine it is a huge help for all the other recipes that take lots of subcombines and multiple components. (I stopped trying to work on pottery, my main tradeskill, over a year ago because of the tedium - yesterday went from 214 to 221 and was quite happy!)

Great job devs! I really enjoy how it works now.

(see that Moderator tag - well that is for the Vazaelle marketplace, my posts and opinions should not be considered as anything but my own and not reflect poorly on the folks doing all the hard stuff here. )

                      kytelae a question real quick.

                      Tailoring 218 - Fishing 200 - Pottery 199 - Baking 191 - Brewing 188 - Smithing 175 - Fletching 142

how long have pottery, baking, brewing, and fletching been at those levels? i noticed those are all store bought levels. not picking on you at all you just help with my point some.

you can look at my sig for my levels too but the point is.
(mine) 200 brewing last night with ui, 154 tailor from 129 because heady kiolas weren't as bad with new ui, 170 fletching up last night but not done going to 200 soon, 166 smithing still because i have to farm more padding, pottery 135 from 122 becasuse the ui gave me the time to combine them.

will be getting fletching to 200, pottery to 199, and smithing to at least 188 soon. the reason why is the new ui. i would have gotten them up sometime anyway. the new ui lets me combine quickly enough i can do something else while online including a seperate skill. it used to take me over 4 hours and many times 2 play sessions to make a 200 run of picnics. haven't since the new ui came out but heard the results are remarkable. i wouldn't have had the time to combine all this to get to my skill level without the ui. i am a dedicated tradeskiller. the ui lets me get more out of my time.
its like xping and sitting lfg for an hour before you get a group to xp for the night next to finding a chain pull group within 2 minutes of logging on. you just feel like you have accomplished so much more, becuase you have. i just didn't have the time to tradeskill like i had wanted and farm the shawl and xp and work on epic like i wanted too. now i can do a little every night or really focus and get a good bit done.
took me probably 2-3 hours to get from 186 brewing to 200 brewing last night with the new ui. then i started fletching and got 3 stacks done after doing pottery to 135 on the zombie skins i had saved. i could have done at most half that many hero brew combines in the time i was on if that was all i did. but guess what else i did last night. i played with my wife's shaman alt. i pled her like only a wizard can hehe. very poorly but we had fun. i have gotten so much farther doing the stuff i enjoy (tradeskills mostly) this week than i thought i would get in the next month thnks to the new ui.

i know this has gotten long but the short version. thank you for making this new ui. i love tradeskills but can't always play for long. with this new ui i can get enough done to feel i have accomplished something and still do something besides tradeskills if i want to like spending time with my wife. that is a huge reason i love this new ui. (also the fact that my wrist doesn't sound like bones grating pleases me accoustically. )

Most of those have been that level for ages; the fletching is fairly new cause I'm back workng on my shawl again. None of them but fishing and tailoring are skills I really care about - they are skills I needed to get high enough to enable a good success rate on subcombines for my tailoring.

None of them were worked up with the new UI, though; I did them all the hard way

didn't touch fletching till i made a ranger. now its fun. love baking in real life and picked up brewing for tempers so i could smith which i've always wanted to do in rl. pottery i got for the shawl and didn't really like in rl. with the new ui though its not bad. fishing i dislike in rl but love in everquest. i get skill points without hitting the combine button hehe. tailoring is ok. the rush of the lower levels is gone now that i know how long the road ahead is but still looks ok.

i've made a lot of money on picnics bu expect that to go down now. i can still make them for friends and myself but when nobody could grind them they sold for more. now that they are "easy" (yeah right 335) i will have to compete with more folks. its ok. i think i can live with less plat and more free time. all things considered i am very happy with it still. on all the other tradeskills i'm still working on it rocks. the part i hated most about smithing was making my own folded metal sheets lol.

didn't mean anything by implying your skills were new. i know i have zerged tradeskills lately. still managed to pl wife and help a friend hunt his griffon eggs. i'm just happy and amazed at the speed at which i've gained levels. also lost several toolboxes of stuff i'd accumulated though hehe.

I did a run of 200 picnic combines in just over an hour last night. That included logging to my Druid 2 times to get stuff I needed as I overlooked them and he had all the spiced beer on him.
